It came to my mind that my late uncle was a pharmacist and created a herbarium during his study around 1949 in Styria / Austria. The taxonomy system he used was L., referring to Carl Linné. The Linné taxonomy is not in use, anymore. After my uncles demise the herbarium was donated to an Austrian botanics faculty, which digitized it for study purposes. Alas, there are no pictures, but I can show this map, complete with 169 specimen names and locations. I find it very interesting to be able to follow his footsteps.
